Return
You can return the reusable cup to the return kiosk at any of the dedicated Starbucks return stations within 30 days of your purchase.
There's no need to scan or clean the reusable cups before return it. You can drop off the cup to the return kiosk with the lid on.
We'll send you a return confirmation via the Muuse App within 48 hours.

What is the Borrow A Cup Program?
The Starbucks Borrow A Cup Program is a pilot program that offers reusable cup rental services across five stores in Hong Kong, reinforcing our commitment to building a more sustainable future for communities and the planet. The program encourages customers to shift away from single-use cups.
Is Borrow A Cup available for all beverages at Starbucks?
You can borrow a reusable cup for any hot or cold drink, in Tall, Grande and Venti sizes.
Do you offer the reusable cup if I order the beverage through the Starbucks App/Mobile Order & Pay/Online Order & Pick Up/ Starbucks Delivery/Deliveroo/Uber Eats/Food Panda?
We currently only offer the reusable cups with any handcrafted beverage purchased at participated stores. You can request to use the reusable cup upon your purchase at the store.
Do I have to link my credit card to the Muuse WebApp/App?
Customers who are first time user of the Muuse WebApp/App are required to enter card details for account registration. This also acted as a guarantee on the Starbucks reusable cup.
Do you only accept credit card payment?
If you prefer to pay by credit card, you can simply download Muuse App. If you want to pay by Alipay, you can download Web App. Once you completed the registration, you can download Musse App again to connect the two accounts.
I’ve returned my cup but the Muuse app still says it’s borrowed?
Please allow us up to 48 hours to mark your cup as returned within the app.
This enables us to empty the return stations, professionally clean your cups, and re-stock them in Starbucks stores!
Is there a time limit and late-return penalty?
You will receive a reminder to return the 14 days after borrowing the cup. HK$20 would be charged to the linked credit card if the cup is not returned within 30 days.
How are the cups cleaned?
Starbucks collects the used cups from the return kiosks at least once a day. Once the cups are returned to the store, they are commercially washed and sanitized to Starbucks high standards.
