Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Counsel appropriate stakeholders on PR and communications issues, sustainability related strategies, events and their potential enterprise-wide implications
- Develop and implement processes for planning, updating, publishing, editing and archiving PR and communications objectives
- Execute analyses of issues that might impact the Company and execute proactive & reactive plans for issues management
- Manage multiple complex projects that may cross functional units in order to support effective communications throughout the organization
- Manage the preparation of communications relating to operations, product changes and other initiatives to ensure that store partners, customers, media and other stakeholders receive appropriate communications
- Develop editorial writing for brand, product and store coverage, handle media enquiries and relationship building
- Develop and disseminate accurate, relevant and timely information to key assigned internal and external audiences. Evaluate processes, designs and implements improvements
- Support internal and external communication projects and initiatives, with focus on communication plans implementation
- Support PR maintenance and marketing materials including news monitoring, media photo shooting, CSR community board poster at store and promotional beverage coupons
- Work closely with external & internal parties in planning & implementing communication programs in support of ESG
- Liaise with NGOs, volunteer recruitment, event management for sustainability and CSR program
- Handle logistics, execution and planning of PR events
Summary of Experience
- 5 – 8 years of experience in corporate communications and public relations work, preferably at a multi-unit retailer or agency
- Hands-on experience in supporting ESG and leading sustainability & CSR programs
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- University graduate in PR / Communications or Marketing related disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead execution of effective communication programs and plans both internal and external across the enterprise
- Ability to interact effectively with senior management and communicate with all levels of the organization
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, agencies and partners across the organization
- Culturally sensitive and able to work with diverse groups of people
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS application
